Joe Youngblood Cited in Search Engine Journal Article for Top Social Media Trends in 2020

Dallas, TX – January 20th, 2020 –

Last week our founder was cited in an article and ebook by industry publication Search Engine Journal about the top social media trends marketers and business owners needed to be aware of for 2020. His insights that were included were based on the research work conducted by our brother company Winner Winner Chicken Dinner on what internet users expect from online video content.

While Joe has been known for over a decade as a top Dallas SEO, he is one of the founding pioneers of cross-compatible online video services having built the now defunct GamersTube in early 2006 and spent years pushing his ideas for live-streaming services, ultimately unable to convince tech investors in either the Valley or Texas that more interactive or live video platforms were the future.

“Back then it was really difficult to make decent video, and expensive to create video at a moderate quality level. That made it difficult for people outside of wealthier areas to compete or contribute video content to the web. Today, technology has improved and become low cost enough that consumers now expect to see at least moderate quality online video before doing business with you or your company.”

And the research shows that consumers don’t want to see this video content as an autoplay video on your website, they want to see the videos via online platforms they use such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and even Reddit. While SEO activities like link building, PPC advertising, and standard Social Media are necessary in 2020, if your business isn’t at least getting started with video, you are likely going to start losing sales.
