The “Week in Digital Marketing (so far)” YouTube Show and Podcast Are Suspended Indefinitely

Starting on June 7th, 2019 we began publishing a new show weekly on YouTube and on Podcasting platforms. Called “The Week in Digital Marketing (so far)”, the show was a quick run down of all of the news, changes, and important research from across the entire digital marketing industry covering every platform.

We built the show to help our clients understand just how frequently the entire landscape is shifting and to help inspire them with new ideas to move their business forward. We produced 50 different episodes across 3 different seasons during the lifespan of the show, which performed well among our client base and gained a following across various industry peers over the past year.

However, producing the show takes a lot of time and energy from our team; often requiring 4 to 6 hours of research and script writing, several hours of production and recording, up to 16 hours of post-production time, and at least an hour to distribute – with several employees engaged at each step. As our loyal fans will note the show has frequently been getting uploaded several days late often missing our Friday afternoon publication deadline since the global pandemic hit the USA. The show was also recorded in our sister brand, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’s, studio which (the studio) has been closed down due to the pandemic and is not expected to re-open for sometime.

Like most SEO and marketing agencies these unprecedented times require more of our time and attention than ever before as our clients needs have grown more complex and demanding and their budgets have shrank considerably. It is then our duty to ensure we focus all available energy in aiding our clients to navigate these rocky waters and see them through this time of incredible challenges and immense obstacles.

Due to all of these factors the recording, production, and publication of “The Week in Digital Marketing (so far)” video and podcast series has been suspended indefinitely. Our initial hope was to avoid this fate and continue producing the show to offer a sort of normalcy for our clients and fans, unfortunately this is simply no longer a tenable goal.

We will continue working on other video projects that we believe will help others learn and understand SEO and digital marketing better, continue producing blog posts and educational content on our site, and we’ll continue to curate the weekly email newsletter “All The Latest in Digital Marketing” for All The Latest in hopes of helping keep others updated on all the changes happening in digital. We reserve the right to resume production of the “Week in Digital Marketing (so far)” at any time in the future.
